Meet your instructor

Serious skills.
A refreshingly human approach.

Hi, I’m Andrew. I’ve spent more than a decade analyzing real estate investments and building the models behind them. AREA brings that experience into lessons designed to make complex concepts click.

We’ll work through the numbers, question the assumptions, and connect what’s happening in Excel to what’s happening in the deal. Expect practical examples, straightforward explanations, and a little humor along the way.

Learning something valuable should feel challenging, rewarding, and enjoyable.

From people I’ve trained

Skills that made a difference.

These experiences come from professionals I’ve trained directly. That same practical approach is at the heart of AREA.

Breaking into the industry.

After moving from England to the United States, David put his training to work in interviews and landed a role with a leading real estate private equity fund manager. He described the training as more helpful than any class he took at university.

Taking the next step.

Joseph strengthened his finance skills and deepened his understanding of pro formas. He credits the tools he learned with helping him stand out and earn a promotion from Development Associate to Project Manager at a national developer.

Joseph F.

Building confidence on the job.

As a first-year analyst, Brett was working to keep up with a demanding workload. He reported that the training helped him work faster, take greater ownership of his pro formas, and improve both the quality and speed of his analysis.
